Chocolate, coffee and banana mousse (sugar-free, vegan)

Recipe of the month:

5-6 servings (in small dessert bowls)

Ingredients:

  • 5 bananas
  • Juice of one orange
  • 2-4 tablespoons of cocoa
  • 1 tablespoon shredded coconut
  • 1 teaspoon granulated freeze dried coffee
  • Chopped brazil nuts, hazels or coconut for the decoration

Method:

Mix the bananas, cocoa, orange juice, shredded coconut, and coffee in the blender until smooth. The consistency should be that of a loose mousse, make sure it is not too thick. Fill into the dessert bowl and decorate with the nuts of your choice. Refrigerate for a couple of hours. That’s all. Bon appetit!

Warning: this dessert is highly addictive! Great for the soul as both bananas and chocolate are natural anti-depressants.
